At Urbimed we believe that the quality of a home begins long before the work begins. That is why we take the time to learn first-hand about the materials, technologies and solutions that will mark residential architecture in the coming years.
We recently had the opportunity to visit the facilities of the Porcelanosa Group, one of the international benchmarks in materials and construction solutions. During the day we toured different spaces of the group where we were able to learn about the latest innovations in the sector.
One of the key stops was XTONE / X-Light, where we discovered the latest solutions in large-format porcelain surfaces. These materials allow continuous coatings, great resistance and a very clean aesthetic, which makes them a very interesting option for facades, interiors and kitchens.
The large format and the quality of the surfaces open up new possibilities for contemporary projects, where visual continuity and durability are essential.
We also visit L'Antic Colonial, where we explore natural materials such as stone, wood or artisanal mosaics. These types of finishes bring character and texture to spaces, and fit particularly well with contemporary Mediterranean architecture.
The combination of technology and natural materials is undoubtedly one of the trends that will continue to grow in the coming years.
The day continued at Porcelanosa Kitchens, where we analysed kitchen solutions designed to integrate design, ergonomics and durability. The kitchen has become one of the central spaces of the home, and its design requires more and more attention from the project phase.
At Noken, the division specialising in bathroom and wellness, we were able to learn about tap systems, sanitaryware and technical solutions aimed at both aesthetics and efficiency.
Visiting the Porcelanosa facilities allows us to see first-hand how materials and construction solutions evolve. For us, these types of meetings are essential to continue designing villas that combine technology, durability and timeless design.
At Urbimed we believe that good architecture is also built from the knowledge of materials. Maintaining a close relationship with leading manufacturers such as Porcelanosa allows us to continue offering our customers up-to-date, reliable solutions aligned with industry trends.
